What is a hybrid inverter and do I need one?

A hybrid inverter combines a solar inverter and battery charger in one unit. It converts DC solar power to AC, charges your battery bank, and manages grid/battery switching automatically. If you want both solar savings AND backup power during blackouts, a Solis hybrid inverter is the right choice.

Solis inverters come with a standard 5-year manufacturer warranty, extendable to 10 years. All warranties supplied through Magharibi Light Energy are backed by local support — no need to ship units abroad for warranty claims.

Can the Solis inverter work without a battery?

Yes. In grid-tied mode, Solis inverters work without a battery — feeding solar power directly into your home and exporting surplus to the grid. You can always add a battery later when your budget allows. Our team will configure the system to be battery-ready from day one.
